Celebrating Our 1000th Issue

Green Communities Canada has been distributing this newsletter since 1995. This newsletter was first faxed out weekly to subscribers from member organizations, industry, educational institutions, government leaders, and the general public.

We now send Green Communities News straight to your inbox once per month with occasional (and exciting) updates in between. As this newsletter enters its third decade and 1,000+ issues, we are thrilled to share an updated design.

The report analyzes five years of federal data from over 600,000 retrofits. These retrofits reduced fossil fuel emissions and household energy bills in Canada’s low-rise housing sector. However, more than 11 million homes across the country still require retrofitting.
