City: Mississauga
Year: 2014 - Ongoing

In 2014, Ecosource led a Depave Paradise project at Russet Homes Housing Cooperative in Mississauga’s Burnhamthorpe Neighbourhood. With support from local volunteers, the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s SNAP program, and other partners, they removed approximately 175 square metres of asphalt from a decommissioned basketball court, transforming it into a vibrant garden and community space.
