Year: 2016 - Ongoing

In 2016, the Youth Rain Action Project at Sheridan Nurseries in Mississauga, Ontario, gave a group of youth a unique, hands-on opportunity to learn about stormwater management. The participants attended interactive workshops where they explored sustainable water practices, then designed and installed a 9 square metre rain garden. This project transformed an unused space into a vibrant, functional green infrastructure feature that manages stormwater runoff while creating a beautiful community asset.
